Emerging Scholars Series

The Marquette Intellectual Property Law Review presents the Emerging Scholars Series. The Emerging Scholars Series highlights the work of junior scholars who are poised to become the leading intellectual property thinkers of the next generation. This series features cutting-edge scholarship from contributors who we believe will continue producing high-caliber work on intellectual property law and will significantly contribute to the academic and professional community.

Faculty advisors Bruce Boyden and Kali Murray created the Emerging Scholars Series in this publication of the Journal and have continued the series in the Marquette Intellectual Property & Innovation Law Review, its successor. The Series began with the goal of highlighting up-and-coming scholars in the field. It reflects the Journal’s broader mission to foster academic engagement and mentor the next generation of legal scholars. Today, the Series continues in the successor Law Review to grow as a platform for emerging voices in intellectual property law.

The Marquette Intellectual Property Law Review featured four Emerging Scholars. Each has gone on to produce various scholarly works in the field of intellectual property. We encourage you to follow up with these scholars today and see where their scholarship has taken them.

If you are interested in being a part of the Emerging Scholars Series, please contact faculty advisors Bruce Boyden and Kali Murray. We welcome inquiries from junior scholars with a demonstrated interest in intellectual property law and a commitment to producing innovative and rigorous scholarship.
