Abstract

Many seniors who plan to surrender title to their home, often their only major asset, in exchange for the promise of life-long care often fail to seriously consider possible pitfalls and take the necessary steps to prevent them, being overly trustful of close family members or friends. Several options are suggested, along with ways to make such a transaction more equitable to all parties.
