Abstract
Goldberg's article looks at the Fifth Commandment's obligation of honoring one's parents as one source of filial responsibility laws. The article's goal is to suggest how concepts from the Jewish Law regarding the Fifth Commandment can add intangible benefit to undertaking the obligation of financial and physical care of an elderly parent.
