Prospective Authors

The Marquette Elder’s Advisor editorial board welcomes articles of merit in the broad field of elder law, including health law and disability law. We also accept articles from authors in related disciplines, including but not limited to, medicine, psychology, psychiatry, social work, and finance.

The Elder’s Advisor seeks to publish succinct and readable articles of interest to scholars, policy makers, and practitioners. Accessibility is key to our effort to create dialogue and progress in elder issues. Important articles may, for example, explore points of philosophy or policy in detail, or may encapsulate an issue for non-specialists. Text and footnotes generally do not exceed forty doubled-spaced manuscript pages.

Prepared manuscripts should be sent to Marquette University Law School, Marquette Elder’s Advisor, Eckstein Hall, P.O. Box 1881, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53201-1881, Attention: Editor in Chief; or submitted electronically to elderlaw@marquette.edu. Your name and contact information should be included on your manuscript. Upon acceptance, an electronic copy must be provided by email.
